Dr. Thomas E. Lovejoy, Amazon Biodiversity Center Founder and Director, was recently interviewed for the Wilson Center about the state of the Amazon and efforts to preserve its endangered ecosystem.  In it, Tom says we have about 10 years left to reverse deforestation in the Amazon before we hit irreversible tipping points that would lead to ecosystem collapse of the entire Amazon Rainforest system.
